Trace Developers

Deep links

The most valuable integration is often not an API call at all — it is a link. A row in your CRM that opens the right job in Trace, already filtered, saves more time than any amount of syncing.

Every filter in the office dashboard lives in the URL. That is not decoration: it means any view somebody can reach by clicking, you can reach by linking, and a link somebody pastes into a message reopens exactly what they were looking at.

Jobs

https://trace.foundrcode.com/projects

The active job list.

https://trace.foundrcode.com/projects?q=harlan

Search by name, client, address or city.

https://trace.foundrcode.com/projects?status=archived

Archived jobs. Archiving never deletes a photo.

https://trace.foundrcode.com/projects/{id}

One job, on its photo tab.

https://trace.foundrcode.com/projects/{id}?tab=checklists

Straight to the checklists. Also: tasks, pages, files, discussion, reports, details, pairs.

https://trace.foundrcode.com/projects/{id}?photo={photoId}

Opens the job with one photo already expanded.

Photos

https://trace.foundrcode.com/photos

The whole feed, newest first.

https://trace.foundrcode.com/photos?project={id}

One job's photos.

https://trace.foundrcode.com/photos?tag=before

Everything carrying a tag, by slug.

https://trace.foundrcode.com/photos?by={userId}

One person's captures.

https://trace.foundrcode.com/photos?from=2026-08-01&to=2026-08-31

A date range, on capture time — not upload time.

https://trace.foundrcode.com/photos?pairs=1

Before-and-after pairs only.

Elsewhere

https://trace.foundrcode.com/map

Every job with coordinates, on one map.

https://trace.foundrcode.com/tasks?show=overdue

Overdue work. Also open, done, all.

https://trace.foundrcode.com/tasks?who=me

What is assigned to whoever follows the link.

https://trace.foundrcode.com/reports

The report list.

https://trace.foundrcode.com/reports/{id}

One report in the builder.

https://trace.foundrcode.com/insights?days=90

Company insights over a window: 7, 30, 90 or 365.

Links that need no account

Three surfaces are public by token, for people who will never have a login — a homeowner, an adjuster, a subcontractor.

https://trace.foundrcode.com/r/{token}

A single report. Revocable, and expirable.

https://trace.foundrcode.com/p/{token}

A live project timeline — progress as it happens, rather than a PDF every Friday.

https://trace.foundrcode.com/work/{slug}

The company's public portfolio of finished work. Indexable, unlike the two above.

A share token is the entire credential. Anyone holding the link sees the report. That is the point — the recipient has no account — but it means the link should be treated as a secret, and rotated when the job is done. Both are one click in the office.

Signing somebody in first

A deep link to a dashboard route redirects to the sign-in page when there is no session, and lands on the intended page afterwards. You do not need to handle that; just link to where you want them.
